What /llms.txt is, and why the address matters
/llms.txt is a plain text file at the root of a website that exists for one purpose: telling an AI assistant what a business is, in the business’s own words. The file says Yoast SEO wrote it. That is the finding this study leads on, and it is not a criticism of anyone. A platform-generated file is assembled from the pages and products already on the site. It does not say what Glass Roots Inc will quote a price on, which services it actually performs, or how far it will travel. The business is the subject of that description rather than its author — so the answer an assistant gives about it was written by software that has never spoken to it.
What we did not check, and what we withdrew
This page publishes one finding about glassroots.org and no others.
